ABOUT US

Get Game Sports is locally owned and operated by Bryan and Nanci Lindholz and their children, Erica, Alexa (Lexi) and Tyler. The Lindholz family has lived in Springboro for 12 years. Get Game opened for business in November 2007.

Bryan and Nanci are very active in the Springboro community and volunteer in several youth organizations.

Bryan attended East Tennessee State University on a baseball scholarship until a knee injury sidelined his career and sent him on another path in life. He is very passionate about youth sports and truly feels coaching is something he was meant to do. He has coached various sports for many years, starting with their oldest son, Adam, in T-ball in Centerville in 1990. After moving to Springboro in 1998, Bryan coached Adam in the SCBA (Springboro Community Baseball Association) and later coached his high school team in a summer league. Adam graduated from SHS in 2002, and Bryan started over in the SCBA—coaching their youngest son, Tyler, then a kindergartner. Bryan is still a head coach for the SCBA, 8 years later, currently in the Juniors Division.

Bryan also coached Tyler in Springboro Pee Wee Football for 4 years and is currently the President of the newly established organization, Wee Panthers Inc, which just finished its first season.

Bryan also coached their daughters in soccer for several years.

Through all this Nanci has been by Bryan’s side as his secretary and team mom for every one of his teams. She was the Jr High 8th grade team mom this past season. Nanci is also involved with the SCBA as the Team Parent Coordinator for the entire organization.  In her spare time, as she calls it, she has a “real job” working in a local plastic surgeon’s office.

Erica graduated from SHS in 2003 and now works with Bryan at an office furniture dealership in Cincinnati. Lexi is a junior at SHS and Tyler is in the 8th grade at SJHS.

On any given day you’ll find either Nanci, Erica, Lexi or Tyler (and sometimes all of them!) at Get Game, working behind the welcome counter, setting up a pitching machine in a cage or getting the field ready for a team practice. They all are very knowledgeable in what Get Game has to offer its’ clients and can answer most any questions you have.  Don’t hesitate to ask!

And while they would love for Adam to hang out at Get Game too, he isn’t able to do so as he is currently a Captain in the US Army stationed at Fort Campbell, KY.  Adam is pursuing one of his life long dreams—flying. His “bird” or “baby” as he refers to it is an OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopter. Adam will be deploying to Afghanistan in Feb 2010 and his entire family would be truly grateful if you remembered him in your prayers.

The Lindholz family is proud to provide a sports facility for the youth in this community and thanks you for visiting this website. We hope to meet you in person at Get Game in the near future!
